PLEASE SUPPORT THE ALS WALK!!!

The Hammonton Lions Club will be participating in the Annual Boardwalk to dTeet ALS in Ocean City in October. Our involvement in this event began after our dear friend and fellow Lion, Jack Pagano, lost his battle to ALS. In the first three years of our participation, our Hammonton Lions Club and members have donated a total of over $3000 to help in the fight against this terrible disease (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Our club was even a sponsor and our club logo appeared on the official Walk T-shirts. We want to continue our proud involvement in this worthy cause, and we need everyone*s help. Please participate in any way that you can.

How Can You Help?
1. Be a part of "Jack's Pack" and join our team for the Walk in October.
contact alswalk@hammontonlions.org so that we can send you a Walker Envelope.

2. If you are UNABLE TO JOIN US ON THE DAY OF THE WALK, you can still help.
Just make a donation (any amount is appreciatedl) and drop it off it to Ann Cicatiello.
You can give it to her at a meeting or you can email her
at alswalk@hammontonlions.org

Please participate if you are able. The Boardwalk is beautiful in October. The walk is only a few miles. Take your family, make a fun day of it, and make Jack proud!
In Loving Memory of Jack Pagano

Jack Pagano was born on August 11, 1936 . He worked at Whitehall Laboratories for 38 years. He was married to his loving wife Theresa for 43 years. Together they had two children: a son, John (married to Laura); and a daughter, LuAnne (married to Michael). Jack also had two grandsons, Ryan and Christopher, who he loved very much. They certainly kept him busy. Jack also enjoyed gardening.

Jack belonged to the Hammonton Lions Club and felt a very strong connection to the Club, his fellow Lions, and the good work carried on by the Club. The Hammonton Lions Club now participates in the Boardwalk to d'Feet ALS as "Jack's Pack," in Jack's honor and memory. Jack was also active in many other community affairs as well as in his Church, St. Joseph 's Catholic Church, in Hammonton. He is remembered with fondness by everyone who knew him; he was just a friendly, wonderful, caring man.
Jack lost his battle with ALS on May 7, 2002 .
